Wedding Florals Pricing & Minimums

For 2026 full-service wedding bookings, we require a $5,500 minimum spend (pre-tax) for weddings where we provide on-site delivery and setup during peak wedding season (May–October). Not peak season (November-April) do not have set minimums.

A la carte wedding flowers start at $1,000, and can be picked up directly from our studio location on Stoney Creek Mountain.

Delivery only can be arranged based on location/availability within our regular service areas only.

Pricing & Custom Quotes

The cost of wedding flowers can vary depending on several factors, including the size of your arrangements, the abundance and types of flowers used, any additional details or special requests, and the season. Flowers undergo a beautiful and intricate process: from dedicated farmers (both local and international) growing and preparing them, to transportation and the careful design process. Additionally, we account for the costs of keeping flowers fresh, wholesale price fluctuations, and other variables that impact pricing.

Since no two weddings are the same, we believe in offering custom quotes tailored to your specific needs. As a general reference, most of our full-service wedding clients invest between $7,500–$10,000+ to achieve the style and level of design Lace & Birch is known for, with final pricing varying based on scale, priorities, and installation complexity

The Behind-the-Scenes Process of Wedding Florals

There’s so much love and care that goes into every step of creating your wedding florals. From the initial planning to the final setup on your big day, here’s an overview of the many factors that contribute to your floral designs:

Administrative Tasks

• Initial consultations, email responses, and messaging
• Custom quotes, research, and inspiration gathering
• Creating mood boards, floral recipes, and stem counts
• Sourcing and ordering flowers and supplies
• Adjustments and coordination throughout the process

Flower Pickup

• Traveling to multiple suppliers to source flowers and materials

Flower Processing

• Unpacking flowers, trimming stems, hydrating, removing foliage, and de-thorning
• Ensuring all flowers are placed in buckets with fresh water to stay hydrated and fresh

Floral Design

• Keeping flowers fresh, including allowing roses to open, changing water when needed, and creating the actual arrangements and bouquets
• Storing designs properly to ensure they stay fresh until the wedding day

Wedding Day

• Loading the trailer, picking up florals from the shop, and transporting them to the venue
• Unloading, setting up, and installing florals on-site
• Ensuring flowers remain fresh throughout the event
• Clean-up of all spaces used during setup

Seasonal & Import Factors

• Seasonal variations, import restrictions, and freight costs can impact flower availability and pricing
• Trendy flower types and colors may also come at a premium, particularly during peak demand

Booking Timeline

The wedding industry is always evolving, and our booking timeline reflects this flexibility. Typically, we recommend booking 6 months to 1 year in advance to ensure availability, though some dates may be booked up to 1.5 years ahead of time.

For smaller events or a la carte items, we are often able to accommodate bookings with 3 months' notice, depending on availability.

Booking Flexibility & How It Works

We understand that when booking your wedding florals, you may not have every detail, design, or colour finalized. Don’t worry, we’re here to help! We’re flexible and happy to guide you through the process as your vision comes together.

To secure your date, simply provide a $500 deposit. You can finalize the details, including quantities, designs, and colours, as you make decisions closer to your wedding day.

With weddings being booked well in advance, if you love our style and feel we’d be a good fit, it’s never too early to reach out and get started!

Of course you can! I am super flexible throughout the process and understand that your ideas and inspiration may change throughout your planning, and am here to offer guidance when needed! Please note you can make changes, however cannot deduct more than 15% of your agreed upon contract quote.

Booking Process

Once you’ve filled out the inquiry form and we’ve confirmed availability for your wedding date, you’ll receive our Floral Guide as a starting point. From there, we gather a bit more information before scheduling a consultation and preparing a tailored quote.

Your quote does NOT need to be set in stone or fully decided on in order to move forward. To officially reserve your date, a signed contract and deposit are required. Please note that dates are only held once a deposit is received, quotes or email correspondence alone do not secure availability.

After booking, we’ll begin curating your personalized floral vision through detailed inspiration boards and thoughtful planning for your ceremony and reception.

Booking & Deposit Information

To secure your wedding date, a 10% deposit of the rough quote or contract total is required (or $500 if no formal quote total has been provided), along with a signed copy of the contract. Deposits can be made at any time, even if certain details or items are still undecided.

Payments can be made via e-transfer. Once we receive your deposit and signed contract, your date is officially booked! 

Please note that dates cannot be held without a deposit. Email communication, quotes, unsigned contracts, or failure to submit a deposit do not constitute a booking.

Design Planning & Final Details

Typically, 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding, we’ll schedule a final detail meeting. During this time, we’ll finalize your mood and inspiration boards. Any final adjustments to numbers or last-minute changes can be made up to 1 month before your wedding.

A la Carte Wedding Flowers

Yes, we offer a la carte wedding flowers! Whether you need bridal party flowers, or a few key arrangements, we’re happy to help.

Please note, this option is pickup only from our studio in Stoney Creek, and begins at $1,000 spend for a la carte wedding flowers.

Bulk Flowers for Weddings & Events

Bulk flowers are available, and offered as a separate, limited service for select orders. This option is best suited for clients handling their own floral design and setup.
