Hamilton Wedding and Event Florist

At the end of August 2018, I quit my full time wedding + events job and decided to dive into the scary, but exciting journey of entrepreneurship. I started with wedding planning, rentals, and minimal floral work for a handful of couples (even had a studio for a short time), but after almost 7 years as a previous planner; I decided to make the creative shift and leap of faith to follow my true passion of florals and plants. With only 1 year of full time flower experience under my belt, I purchased my flower shop in December 2019, and opened late January 2020. 

Since opening, my flower shop has won multiple awards, including Best Flower Shop in Hamilton 4 years in a row (Top Choice awards is recognized across North America), and most recently for Top Hamilton Flower Shop (by Canadian Choice Awards), and CommunityVotes Hamilton and Flamborough. It has been such an incredible journey, and one I wouldn't change; even through the ups and downs! I am a huge supporter of other entrepreneurs and small businesses, and am proud to feature so many amazing Ontario made products and women owned businesses at the flower shop.

I am practically self taught, and spend t a lot of time self teaching and practicing floral skills, investing time and education and bettering my skills (both florals + business), and even grow a small cutting garden to incorporate into wedding designs (as well as picking up from + supporting our local flower and plant growers!) I have 2 green thumbs, and could chat plants for days; this is also what drove for the large mix of plants to be included at the flower shop.

On my free time, I love to be outdoors in nature, getting my hands dirty in the garden, travelling with my husband or adventuring with our two pups, and tending to my vast plant collection.
